is Mangafox.com also closing down? Doesn’t seem like it. Nonetheless, OM had pretty high standards. I shall miss it.

What’s sad is that, there is a market for these online scanlations. Online manga’s main problem is one of monetization. They’re stuck in the print model. While many manga are trash, the few well written and well drawn should be extolled and shared and monetized. Damn – how’d they make some manga so addictive.

Can you actually post which manga you’ll miss? I only follow a few: (Naruto, Nonononno, Freezing) – I haven’t gotten caught in the Bleach and OnePiece. The Naruto scanlations can still be read from naruto-spoilers.blogspot.com – though the translations are sometimes more literal than One Manga translations. If you follow the shippuden anime, we’re now at the point where Naruto is directly confronting the real Pain. Hinata has made her confessions. Exciting times.

Time to move on na Tina. I know you’ve been digesting that stuff voraciously, even more so (I think) recently, but I think it’ll turn out to be much better for you. You might have to find another cheap alternative hobby though.

Disclaimer: I also hate Manga and Anime especially these days. They’ve butchered the artform and turned it into, well, utter shit.
